Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of dental hygiene treatments, including scaling, polishing, and non-surgical periodontal therapy
• Assess patients’ oral health and identify signs of periodontal disease
• Provide preventative treatments and oral health advice to educate and motivate patients
• Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment notes
• Adhere to all infection prevention and control protocols
• Work collaboratively with specialists, dentists, and the wider practice team to deliver exceptional patient care

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene
• Current General Dental Council (GDC) registration
• Valid DBS/PVG clearance
• Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist
• Right to work in the UK and previous UK experience as a hygienist
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing periodontal patients
• Experience working within a specialist or referral environment
• Familiarity with digital dentistry and modern clinical technologies
