Dental Assistant/Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient chairside assistance during various dental procedures
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
• Sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control standards
• Ensure equipment is ready for each appointment
• Support front-of-house activities including patient enquiries and appointment coordination
• Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in healthcare support
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with dental practice management systems
• Valid New Zealand work rights
• Ability to work in Pukekohe

Preferred Qualifications

• Current dental radiography certification
