Dental Assistant/Orthodontic Assistant

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays
• Maintain and test equipment such as sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, and processor
• Pour models and conduct lab procedures
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in patient records
• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory
• Collaborate with the dental team to develop preventive dental activities

Requirements

• OA/RDA License by Dental Board
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend
• Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments
• Must love working with children
• Upbeat personality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
