Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while ensuring patient comfort
• Set up and breakdown operatory stations post-treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with follow-up instructions and educate them on oral hygiene strategies

Requirements

• Dental Assistant Certificate and X-ray certification as required by state regulations
• 3+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant
• Proficiency with Prime Scan and CEREC technology
• Knowledge of implants and comfort with extractions, crowns, and dentures
• Ability to stand, sit, and lean for prolonged periods in a clinical environment
