Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to Dentists, Dental Hygienists, and the Dental Director
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical schedules
• Interact with patients before, during, and after dental procedures
• Perform reception duties, manage inventory, and maintain electronic records
• Take diagnostic digital X-rays in a timely and reliable manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Radiology certification through a state-approved program
• Registered Dental Assistant Program certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
• Ability to operate, maintain, and document in electronic health records
• Ability to work well within a patient care team and follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous dental assistant experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Sensitivity to working with low-income and ethnic minority communities

• Competitive hourly pay: $21 - $26.50
• Part-time schedule: 4 days per week (32 hours), 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
