Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform chair-side and desk-side duties within the Prosthodontics Postgraduate Program
• Assist during the examination and treatment of patients, including implant procedures
• Take, develop, and mount x-rays while maintaining x-ray solutions and cleaning logs
• Manage dental materials, instruments, and implant component inventory
• Prepare clinical kits for students and set up/drape units for providers and patients
• Perform sterilization tasks, including cleaning ultrasonic units and managing clinical kits
• Execute clerical tasks and serve as a dispensary clerk on an as-needed basis
• Maintain a clean environment by immediately cleaning up discharged bodily fluids

Requirements

• Certificate of Dental Assistant
• Radiology Licensure
• Dental Assisting National Board verification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of dental experience
