Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and ensure they feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit
• Assist the Dentist through a variety of clinical procedures
• Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed
• Maintain strict infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Sanitize and prepare operatories for respective treatments
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies to prioritize a secure environment
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies
• Perform various office tasks as necessary to support practice operations

Requirements

• Prior dental assisting experience is required
• Proven experience with digital radiography and CBCT
• Experience with intraoral scanning (e.g., iTero, Trios, etc.)
• Experience with lab case management
• Valid state-required certification or license to perform specified duties
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a commitment to exceptional patient experiences
