Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality chairside support to clinicians during examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilise treatment rooms in accordance with infection control standards
• Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are ready for use
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Support inventory management and keep the clinical environment organised

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical support role
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment
• Experience with dental practice management software (EXACT preferred)
• Understanding of infection control and sterilisation procedures
• Strong computer literacy and typing skills
• Valid NZ work rights and ability to live locally
