Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support the doctor chairside with 4-handed dentistry
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and supplies for procedures
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control
• Welcome patients and ensure comfort throughout treatment
• Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Assist with scheduling, post-op visits, and payment procedures
• Support general office needs as required

Requirements

• 1–2 years of dental assisting experience
• PA state X-ray certification
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• High school diploma
• Dental assistant certificate (if required by state law)
• Active radiology license (if required by state law)
