Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while ensuring patient comfort
• Set up and break down operatory stations post-treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays) as required
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with follow-up instructions after dental procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Requirements

• Dental Assistant Certificate (where state regulations specify)
• X-ray certification (where state regulations specify)
• 1-2 years of dental assisting experience
