Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures while ensuring patient comfort
• Set up and break down operatory stations post-treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with follow-up instructions after dental procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Requirements

• 1 year of prior Dental Assistant experience
• Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
• X-ray certification where state regulations specify

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior working experience with Dentrix
