Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort
• Select, set up, and sterilize instruments and equipment per regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked dental room
• Schedule appointments and post-op visits while maintaining accurate patient records
• Assist with payment procedures and other office responsibilities as needed
• Travel to the Hazleton location as required

Requirements

• No experience required; training is provided
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
• Good computer skills and excellent communication skills
• High school diploma
• Dental assistant certificate and active state radiology license if required by law
