Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, complete digital charting, and verify codes
• Capture quality x-ray images and assist the dentist with treatment procedures
• Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms following cross-contamination standards
• Discuss treatment options, importance, and recommended follow-up care
• Guide patients and parents through post-care instructions
• Support with appointment scheduling and create positive patient environments
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and other compliance standards

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Flexible, adaptable, and highly engaged team player
• Prompt, reliable, and dedicated to task completion and detail
• Amazing customer service and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing
• Digital x-ray experience
• Digital charting experience
