Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Review patients' medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Provide pre/post-op instructions for oral care after surgery or dental treatments
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• Take impressions of teeth for study casts
• Complete pre-op/post-op x-rays for necessary insurance purposes
• Chart and enter treatments into Dentrix Ascend software

Requirements

• Dental assistant schooling or office experience
• Must be able to work Saturdays
