Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Record patient medical history and monitor blood pressure and pulse
• Provide patients with pre- and post-operative oral care instructions
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies, including brushing and flossing
• Take impressions of patient teeth for study casts
• Chart and enter treatment data into Dentrix Ascend software

Requirements

• Schooling or dental office experience as a Dental Assistant
• Infection Control certificate
• X-Ray certificate
• Ability to work Saturdays
