Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
• Set up and maintain treatment rooms
• Provide excellent patient care and support before, during, and after treatment
• Maintain accurate clinical records
• Manage stock and clinical supplies
• Assist with basic reception duties when required
• Ensure the practice maintains high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
• Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is advantageous
• Strong understanding of infection control and sterilisation procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Professional, reliable, and well-presented manner
• Caring, positive, and patient-focused approach
