Demi Chef

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and assist with the preparation and presentation of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes
• Assist in the development and plating of high-quality meals
• Support the smooth execution of all services in a fast-paced morning environment
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Contribute to effective kitchen operations through teamwork and communication
• Take initiative to develop culinary skills within breakfast and early service operations

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Cook, Chef, or similar position
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
• Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
