Demi Chef

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and assist with the preparation and presentation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes.
• Assist in the development and plating of high-quality meals to ensure consistency and quality.
• Support the smooth execution of all services, particularly within a fast-paced morning environment.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Contribute to effective kitchen operations through strong teamwork and clear communication.
• Take initiative to develop culinary skills within breakfast and early service operations.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Cook, Chef, or in a similar culinary position.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must have valid working rights in New Zealand.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
