About the role
Responsibilities
- Work on several orders simultaneously
- Maintain a clean and sanitized station
- Ensure station is properly stocked with food and equipment
- Take full responsibility for the quality of output from the station
- Create high-quality food according to established standards
- Communicate effectively with the team and respond to guest feedback
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations under the guidance of the Head Chef
Requirements
- Commercial cookery qualification
- At least 2 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant environment
- Experience in food quality and presentation
- Knowledge of food safety policies and procedures
- Strong food preparation and service knowledge
- Ability to work unsupervised with excellent time management
