About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in preparing appetizers, meats, and vegetables for entrees
- Ensure proper food presentation and timely service of high-quality dishes
- Participate in the selection and training of new kitchen team members
- Enforce strict health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness in both kitchen workspace and personal hygiene
- Work efficiently and maintain composure under high-pressure environments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or a relevant culinary degree
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Demi Chef within hotels and restaurants
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
