Demi Chef de Partie

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present nutritious, high-quality dishes including plant-based, gluten-free, and low-fat options
• Utilize fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients to create innovative meals
• Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation across all dishes
• Stay informed about wellness cuisine trends, superfoods, and clean eating practices
• Ensure kitchen section complies with all food safety, hygiene, and sustainability standards
• Collaborate with the Chef de Partie to oversee your section and support junior team members
• Participate in menu planning and tastings to contribute creative wellness-focused ideas

Requirements

• Culinary certification or equivalent experience in a health-conscious environment
• 1-3 years of experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie, ideally in wellness or sustainable dining
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and nutritional needs
• Knowledge of wellness-focused cooking techniques and dietary trends
• Ability to balance culinary creativity with strict health-focused menu requirements
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
