Demi Chef de Partie

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking menu items
• Ensure all dishes meet quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Handle mise en place preparation for daily service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and kitchen procedures
• Support smooth service flow during peak hours
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain consistency and efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a DCDP or Commis I in a fine dining kitchen in the UAE
• Strong culinary skills and understanding of kitchen operations
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn
• Culinary certification is an advantage
