About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest quality levels of kitchen production and presentation
  • Ensure all mise-en-place is correctly prepared prior to the commencement of service
  • Maintain strict cleanliness and food safety practices in compliance with HACCP and UAE hygiene regulations
  • Supervise and train subordinates to ensure resort standards are consistently met
  • Manage food costs and conduct regular checks on food products for expiration and proper labeling
  • Coordinate with the F&B department to support special functions and resort events
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic working environment and report any faults to supervisors immediately
  • Assist in generating work schedules and delegating tasks to kitchen staff

Requirements

  • Culinary school diploma and/or at least 3 years of professional work experience
  • Proven experience working within a 5-star luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of Food Safety systems and HACCP standards
  • Basic proficiency in English
  • Ability to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professional grooming
