Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section
- Prepare mise-en-place according to recipes and service requirements
- Support the preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes to brand standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your workstation
- Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Minimise waste through careful preparation and portion control
Requirements
- Previous experience as Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel or high-end restaurant preferred
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food hygiene and HACCP standards
- Culinary training or certification is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
