About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform mise en place and preliminary preparations
  • Ensure cooking, plating, and service according to presentation standards
  • Maintain consistency and quality of served dishes
  • Adapt work to different services including lunch, dinner, and banquets
  • Control product quality and freshness
  • Participate in stock management and waste reduction
  • Strictly follow HACCP standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Collaborate with the kitchen brigade and supervise commis if necessary

Requirements

  • CAP/BEP/BTS Cuisine or equivalent
  • Significant first experience in a high-standing hotel or restaurant
  • Mastery of basic culinary techniques
  • Attention to detail and presentation
  • Ability to work under pressure
