About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform mise en place and preliminary preparations
- Ensure cooking, plating, and service according to presentation standards
- Maintain consistency and quality of served dishes
- Adapt work to different services including lunch, dinner, and banquets
- Control product quality and freshness
- Participate in stock management and waste reduction
- Strictly follow HACCP standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Collaborate with the kitchen brigade and supervise commis if necessary
Requirements
- CAP/BEP/BTS Cuisine or equivalent
- Significant first experience in a high-standing hotel or restaurant
- Mastery of basic culinary techniques
- Attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to work under pressure
