Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service
• Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and buffet menus
• Actively share ideas and suggestions in daily shift briefings
• Ensure all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards and expectations
• Liaise with Outlet Chefs regarding guest feedback
• Complete daily checks of all mise en place to ensure freshness and quality
• Maintain proper rotation of product in chillers to minimize wastage
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and kitchen policies

Requirements

• 5-6 years of culinary experience
• Journeyman's papers or international equivalent required
• Previous experience in the culinary field
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma Certification in a culinary discipline
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications
