About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the helicopter fleet to ensure technical airworthiness and operational readiness
- Act as the DEMAR CAMO representative and technical interface for customers, including the German Army/Air Force
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and overhaul projects, ensuring compliance with certification requirements (e.g., avionics)
- Plan and control project budgets, assessing feasibility, economic efficiency, and implementing corrective measures
- Perform technical analysis of manufacturer documentation (TS/STC) and aviation authority directives (AD, ASB, SB)
- Conduct safety risk analyses for Service Bulletins and ensure timely entry into the Management Information System (MIS)
- Monitor fleet performance through the definition and analysis of key metrics and costs
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to manage project timelines, risks, and resources
Requirements
- Technical degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of aviation experience, OR
- Minimum 3 years of aviation vocational training with CFS Part 66 CAT B1/2 (or equivalent military qualification) and extensive CAMO experience
- Proven experience in project management and business administration
- Fluency in German (negotiation level) and English (fluent)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a high sense of responsibility regarding quality and safety
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties and occasional business travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Type Rating on Airbus Helicopters H145
- Extensive experience within an OEM or helicopter environment, specifically with H-Type products
- Military background or familiarity with the Bundeswehr operational environment
- Proficiency with visual management tools and planning software such as SAP, HIP, or Envision
