Demand Planner & S&OP Officer

Responsibilities

• Develop demand forecasts and activity grids across multiple levels of aggregation and time horizons.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and develop statistical forecast models.
• Coordinate cross-functional research with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to reconcile variances and refine forecast models.
• Lead S&OP forums to present accurate information that supports business decision-making and growth plans.
• Manage overstock and residual product reduction programs to maintain healthy inventory levels.
• Achieve demand forecast accuracy and bias targets in accordance with company guidelines.
• Identify and manage supply and demand gaps within respective categories.
• Maintain required monthly departmental reports and document all forecasting assumptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in demand or supply planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to act as a decision-maker within your category.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• A curiosity and challenger mindset to improve existing forecasting models.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP APO.
• Knowledge and expertise in digital forecasting tools.
