Demand Planner

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly demand planning and Sales & Operations reviews to align long-term forecasts and supply chain constraints
• Build and maintain demand scenarios across signed orders, high-confidence opportunities, and at-risk programs
• Own procurement spend forecasting by translating demand plans and BOM assumptions into forward-looking cash requirements
• Identify strategic supply chain risks 6+ months ahead of need, including long-lead components and supplier capacity constraints
• Drive cross-functional decisions on at-risk procurement, upside demand coverage, and risk mitigation plans
• Partner with Material Planning, Purchasing, and Production to hand off approved supply plans

Requirements

• 5+ years of demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, or procurement planning experience in fast-paced manufacturing
• Experience building demand forecasts from customer orders, opportunity pipelines, and production capacity
• Strong procurement spend forecasting experience and BOM requirement translation
• Proven ability to lead Sales & Operations and demand review processes with cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience using scenario planning to manage volatile demand and long-lead materials
• Strong analytical skills in Excel or similar planning tools
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, operations, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Defense industry experience with ITAR compliance and DPAS-rated contracts
• Experience with ERP, MRP, or planning systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or Anaplan
• Background in aerospace, robotics, or defense technology supply chains
• Previous startup or high-growth company experience building planning processes
