Demand Planner

Responsibilities

• Support the generation of unconstrained and constrained monthly demand forecasts.
• Analyze historical sales data to identify trends, seasonality, and demand drivers.
• Collaborate with commercial, sales, and marketing teams to incorporate market intelligence into forecasts.
• Develop demand plans using statistical forecasting methods and business inputs such as promotions and NPIs.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, identify gaps, and drive action plans to close deviations.
• Track and report demand planning KPIs to continuously improve performance.
• Load and maintain forecasts in planning systems (SAP/APO) ensuring timeline compliance.
• Manage product portfolio data, including new codes and discontinuations.
• Participate in IBP / S&OP processes, providing insights, risks, and opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within demand planning processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis or demand planning-related roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables; macros are a plus).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of ERP and planning systems, specifically SAP or APO.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SQL or other data query tools.
