Demand Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead franchise-wise demand reviews as part of IBP processes to align monthly rolling forecasts with business strategies.
• Review and correct statistical forecast models to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Sales, and Finance to incorporate market events and customer trends.
• Generate demand scenarios considering product cannibalization, substitution, and past event data.
• Manage system forecasts for new product introductions (NPI) and end-of-life exceptions.
• Partner with project management teams to ensure timely product launches and optimal post-launch inventory levels.
• Develop stocking norms and ensure efficient safety stock levels to meet customer service targets.
• Implement key supply chain strategies such as VMR and APO-driven planning.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in operations management.
• 4-5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or planning.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., V-lookups, pivot tables).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced matrix organization.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of SAP.
• Background in statistical forecasting.
• APICS certification.
• Lean, Six-Sigma, or Process Excellence training/certification.
• Experience with Tableau.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional business partners.
