Delivery Technician

Responsibilities

• Pull, pack, deliver, and pick up medications, supplies, and basic medical equipment
• Load and unload durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicles
• Instruct patients on the basic use of respiratory, oxygen, and other approved durable medical equipment
• Complete necessary paperwork, including daily delivery logs, pick-up/delivery forms, and vehicle maintenance logs
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as checking gasoline, oil, fluids, tire pressure, and brakes
• Respond to emergency delivery calls during regular business hours and on an on-call basis
• Maintain supply components of patient profiles and report any unsafe home environments to supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of related experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum of three years of driving history
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift and carry objects ranging from 10 lbs to 100 lbs
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing stairs
