Delivery Specialist – Digital Solutions

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of digital solutions across mining and industrial customer sites
• Plan, schedule, and track deployments of edge devices, IoT systems, and cloud-connected platforms
• Support on-site implementation, configuration, and validation in live operational environments
• Monitor delivery milestones, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues as required
• Facilitate alignment between engineering, product, operations, and external vendors
• Maintain delivery documentation including project plans, reports, and technical handover materials
• Support ongoing training, troubleshooting, and technical enablement for deployed solutions
• Contribute to the development of delivery frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience working within the mining sector, including site-based or field operations
• Hands-on experience deploying digital, IoT, or engineering systems in active mining or heavy industrial environments
• Proven experience working across both edge/embedded systems and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, APIs)
• Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders such as engineering, operations, and suppliers
• Demonstrated understanding of system deployment in harsh or remote operational environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Systems) or a closely related discipline
• Full working rights in Australia and willingness to be based in or relocate to Newcastle, NSW

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying computer vision, AI, or IoT-based monitoring systems in mining environments
• Hands-on experience with edge devices such as Jetson or Raspberry Pi
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and real-time monitoring systems
• Exposure to international deployments or multi-site operations
• Experience supporting Agile delivery or cross-functional product development teams
