About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Deliver newspapers and other products to multiple delivery sites
- Perform delivery department and production plant floor tasks
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination
- Ability to pass random drug and alcohol screens
- Ability to drive a manual transmission
- Ability to pass a company-administered road test
- Satisfactory driving record for the preceding three years
- Satisfactory safety performance history with DOT regulated employers for the past 10 years
- No recent serious traffic violations or DUI/DWI convictions
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
