Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently
• Load customer orders properly on the truck
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert supervisor to repair needs
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Operate equipment including cars, trucks, and forklifts
• Perform warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazardous materials endorsement
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT licensed examiner
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for public interaction and reporting
• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver
• One year of experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Previous experience selling paint or paint-related products
• Bilingual skills in Spanish
