Delivery Driver II

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers using box and flat-bed trucks
• Load customer orders properly and ensure deliveries are complete and packed correctly
• Maintain safe and timely delivery schedules while adhering to assigned routes
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints
• Maintain store vehicles and alert supervisors to any repair or servicing needs
• Complete appropriate forms, reports, and documentation related to deliveries
• Operate equipment including cars, trucks, and forklifts
• Perform additional store tasks such as warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or be willing to obtain one within five business days of a conditional offer
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English to interact with the public and understand traffic signals
• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver
• At least one year of experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Previous experience selling paint or paint-related products
• Ability to communicate in Spanish
