Delivery Driver Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver in loading and unloading all materials set for delivery
• Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic regulations during transit and unloading
• Obtain proper customer signatures and delivery photos using a handheld device
• Contact customers and/or stores prior to scheduled deliveries and pick-ups
• Maintain safety and security awareness while riding in the delivery vehicle

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• One or more years of experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks)
• Experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role
• Ability to communicate in Spanish
