Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle inspection and safety checks
• Check orders at the warehouse for accuracy and quality
• Load and unload delivery vehicles according to safety standards
• Transport and deliver products to customers following routes and schedules
• Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures
• Ensure customer satisfaction with product quality and accuracy on-site
• Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks
• Report delivery issues, vehicle problems, or customer concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Process customer returns according to company procedures

Requirements

• Valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• High School Diploma or GED
• Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly
• Proven experience in safely operating delivery vehicles
• Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and delivery tracking applications
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Basic math skills for processing delivery documentation
• Knowledge of Seattle metropolitan area streets and routes
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Smartphone proficiency

• Experience with material handling equipment like hand trucks and pallet jacks
