Delivery Driver - DOT II

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers using box and flat-bed trucks
• Load customer orders properly and ensure deliveries are packed correctly
• Transport and deliver items in a safe and timely manner following assigned routes
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert supervisors to any repair or servicing needs
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints
• Adhere to all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Perform additional store tasks including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing orders

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or be willing to obtain one within five business days of a conditional offer
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Proficiency in English to converse with the public and understand traffic signs/signals
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver
• Experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Previous experience selling paint or paint-related products
• Ability to communicate in Spanish
