Delivery Driver - CDL/Hazmat

Responsibilities

• Deliver products, including hazardous materials, to customers using box and flat-bed trucks
• Load customer orders properly and ensure deliveries are complete and packed correctly
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert supervisors to any repair or servicing needs
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and handling customer complaints
• Adhere to assigned routes, follow time schedules, and abide by all transportation laws
• Prepare reports and documentation relating to deliveries
• Perform additional store tasks including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a hazardous materials endorsement
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed medical examiner
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Proficiency in reading and speaking the English language
• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver
• At least one year of experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Previous experience selling paint or paint-related products
• Ability to communicate in Spanish
