Delivery Driver CDL Hazmat

Responsibilities

• Deliver products, including hazardous materials, to customers using box and flat-bed trucks
• Load customer orders properly and ensure deliveries are prepared efficiently
• Maintain a safe and timely delivery schedule while adhering to assigned routes
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert supervisors to any repair or servicing needs
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and handling complaints
• Complete appropriate forms, reports, and documentation related to deliveries
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, trucks, and other material handling machinery
• Perform additional store tasks including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing orders

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Hazmat endorsement
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed medical examiner
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English to interact with the public and complete reports
• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience as a delivery driver
• One year of experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Previous experience selling paint or paint-related products
• Ability to communicate in Spanish
