Deliverability Strategist

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business with professionalism and accountability
• Develop proactive, preventative deliverability strategies based on current industry trends
• Conduct deliverability audits and performance reviews with actionable recommendations
• Support customers in resolving blocklisting, spam traps, or inboxing challenges
• Monitor delivery metrics and communicate results in an impact-focused format
• Quantify improvements in inbox placement and engagement metrics through analysis
• Collaborate across teams to drive adoption of best practices in segmentation and personalization
• Cultivate long-term relationships with executive-level stakeholders
• Track project scope, timeline adherence, and budget management fundamentals

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a data-driven email deliverability role
• Experience managing an enterprise-level book of business
• Familiarity with email infrastructure (DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI)
• Knowledge of global email laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL)
• Ability to interpret and report on email deliverability data
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience
• Occasional travel for team or customer meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Klaviyo or comparable marketing automation platforms
• Familiarity with SMS and MMS technologies and regulations
• Experience using third-party deliverability, design, and analytics tools
• Familiarity with third-party email testing tools like seedlist and postmaster platforms
