Delegated Authority Technician

Responsibilities

• Accurately input information into underwriting systems and maintain precise documentation.
• Review policy language and forms to ensure full compliance with company guidelines.
• Gather relevant market data to assist in risk assessment processes.
• Assist agents and clients with inquiries and resolve policy-related issues.
• Organize files for underwriters' review and support the evaluation of financial, medical, and business factors.
• Engage with internal teams and external partners to facilitate insurance approval processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or Business.
• Minimum of 6 months of related experience in an underwriting or insurance operations role.
• Strong data management skills and proficiency with software tools.
• Solid understanding of insurance regulations and market knowledge.
• Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CPCU, API, AU, ARe, or RPLU.
• Experience with specific risk assessment tools.
