About the role
Responsibilities
- Run assigned mechanical equipment efficiently and safely to shape and thread metal parts
- Ensure all produced items meet quality control requirements and perform first piece inspections
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments
- Utilize basic measuring instruments to verify product specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Complete all necessary documentation fully and accurately
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or machine operation environment
- Proficiency in machine operation and precision measurement
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Basic mathematical skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform frequent bending and stooping
