About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and own the firm’s Defense Readiness and Sustainment pipeline across all Department of War (DoW) military services.
- Build and execute strategic account plans for key defense customers, including Program Acquisition Executives (PAEs), sustainment commands, and depots.
- Identify, shape, and capture opportunities focused on improving mission-capable rates and lifecycle performance of defense systems.
- Translate warfighter readiness needs into compelling business solutions spanning maintenance, logistics, and modernization.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders, prime contractors, and OEMs to influence acquisition strategies.
- Lead proposal development efforts that link technical approaches to customer readiness objectives and mission outcomes.
- Manage pipeline forecasting and win strategies, ensuring disciplined execution from opportunity identification through award.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (or four years of additional professional experience in lieu of a degree).
- 10+ years of experience in sales and/or capture management.
- Proven success in shaping, selling, and closing large readiness and sustainment opportunities across DoW military services.
- Deep understanding of major DoW programs, priorities, and military service structures.
- Experience with innovative acquisition approaches, including Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Commercial Solutions Openings (CSO).
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills.

- Graduate-level education, such as a Master’s or Doctorate degree.
