Defense Accountability Consultant

Responsibilities

• Support consulting projects for major DoD weapon systems across the program lifecycle, including acquisition, sustainment, and modernization.
• Act as a primary liaison for government stakeholders to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist federal clients in optimizing finance organization operations, including audit readiness, accounting, logistics, and property management.
• Support audit remediation activities by developing process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, and corrective action plans.
• Support cross-functional teams to achieve program goals and maintain a common operating picture.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 1+ years of experience with DoD organizations and/or the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• An active and maintained Secret security clearance.
• Advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in DoD/A&D production, acquisition, audit, property accountability, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Power BI.
• Experience with AI Chatbots, Machine Learning, or LLM integration.
• Previous experience working with the Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps.
