DEF Blending and Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) blending processes and manage product sample collection and submission
• Perform light plant maintenance, including greasing equipment, monitoring water systems, and replacing filters or resin beds
• Collaborate with the DEF Rail Movements Specialist to schedule rail car deliveries of concentrate
• Troubleshoot technical and mechanical equipment issues and maintain an inventory of replacement parts
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety, operational, and regulatory procedures at the blending site
• Travel to various DEF sites to support blending operations as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate
• Valid state driver’s license with a positive driving history
• Proficiency with hand tools for repairing pumps and heavy equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders or railcars
• Ability to work onsite in various weather conditions and handle physical tasks such as moving resin beds

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of technical maintenance experience
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of flow measurement equipment and systems
