Decommissioning & Demolition Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage decontamination including flushing, cleaning, and gas-free certification prior to demolition
• Supervise dismantling of equipment, piping, and structures safely and efficiently
• Prepare and implement method statements, risk assessments, and demolition plans
• Coordinate permits (PTW), SIMOPS, and shutdown activities
• Ensure compliance with SADARA, RC, and international safety standards
• Monitor contractor performance, schedule, and progress
• Provide daily reporting and resolve field issues

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Construction Engineering
• 12+ years in oil & gas/petrochemical construction or shutdowns
• Relevant experience in industrial decontamination and demolition
• Strong HSE knowledge and site leadership skills
• Experience in short-term project management and delivering projects within tight deadlines
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate risks effectively
• Familiarity with waste management and environmental compliance requirements
• Willingness to work on-site in Saudi Arabia and travel as required
