About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor river, vessel, and passengers to ensure safety during operations
- Handle mooring lines for docking and undocking
- Sell tickets, food, beverages, and merchandise
- Perform lookout duties and monitor river conditions
- Assist with passenger boarding and disembarking
- Perform cleaning, custodial, and minor maintenance tasks
- Handle cash and manage ticketing equipment
- Assist Captain with regulatory compliance and vessel inspections
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification or ability to obtain one
- Ability to obtain alcohol service certification
- Ability to pass USCG mandated drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to work in outdoor marine environments and varied weather
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
