About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor river, vessel, and passengers to ensure safety during operations
  • Handle mooring lines for docking and undocking
  • Sell tickets, food, beverages, and merchandise
  • Perform lookout duties and monitor river conditions
  • Assist with passenger boarding and disembarking
  • Perform cleaning, custodial, and minor maintenance tasks
  • Handle cash and manage ticketing equipment
  • Assist Captain with regulatory compliance and vessel inspections

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to obtain alcohol service certification
  • Ability to pass USCG mandated drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to work in outdoor marine environments and varied weather
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
