Deckhand

Responsibilities

• Prepare vessels for transportation and ensure safe securing and departure
• Maintain the safety and comfort of all guests during voyages
• Conduct rescue and lookout duties, including in-water rescue
• Assist with food service and daily cleaning duties
• Ensure high-quality service delivery to create memorable guest experiences

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Marine Operations
• Intermediate to advanced swimming skills
• Elements of Shipboard Safety or GPH
• Blue Card / Working with Children's Check
• HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
• HLTAID015 - CPR & Advanced Oxygen Therapy
• Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol
